    How do I delete an old BB OS from my computer, so I can download and install a new one on my BB??

    go to add/remove programs. It'll be there under "Blackberry Device Software X.X.X.." The X's depend on the version, mine says 4.5.0. Its the 169 OS.

    Hmmm...there is nothing there that says that. I have something that says "Blackberry Device Software Updater".

    I think there is something there though because I am having trouble getting the new OS installed to my computer. Any ideas? When I click the .exe file it says it is "having trouble initializing setup" or something like that.

    Just install the new OS. It will overwrite the old one.

    Your old os has nothing to do with downloading another os to your pc. It will affect you loading to the bb if it is newer than the one you want to install or if there is a hybrid.

    What os are you trying to install?
