I'm selling my used BB 8300 on AT&T to someone and want to delete everything on it.

What is the best way to go about formatting the phone to bring it back to the original way and delete everything?

Options -> security options -> general settings -> menu button -> wipe handheld

If you wipe it, all of your data and settings will be erased.

If you want to restore it to "out of the box" condition, download and install the original or an upgraded OS. Use the Advanced button in Applications Loader to Erase everything.

That will bring up the default language prompt on power-up.
