I originally purchased an 8530 back in 2011 with Boost Mobile, I sold it shortly after due to the fact the carrier did not support the area I moved to. Feeling nostalgic, I decided to purchase a never been activated Blackberry Curve from eBay. Apparently it is from Bell of Canada. I got the device wifi-connected, it works with Opera Mini but I cannot download apps from appworld as it tells me I have no active wireless connection. Is there a way to download apps without having to use appworld or is there a way to force appworld to use Wi-Fi? Does creating a Blackberry Enterprise server work possibly? If so, what do I do to install it and get it to work? All I have on the top of the device is activation required right next to the Wi-Fi name, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You just looking to use it as a wifi PDA?

Might try looking here The Bold Explorer

But it does deal mostly with those looking to make the "phone" work with their carrier without a BIS plan. Not sure about WiFi only.
