i want my text messages to look like they do on bbm, or similar, the new upgrade says the txts are displayed in a chat style. so i downloaded it, and my "device is running with the newest software" but nothing has changed? how do i get my normal txts to look like bbm txts?

the app "crunchSMS" does that. its free. you can find it in the blackberry app world
If you have the VMUSA BlackBerry Curve 8530 (not 20), it should already have OS 5.0 and the threaded messaging.
