My blackberry curve won't allow me to send any text messages at all. I RECEIVE them, but every time I reply, it does not come through. And on the top left corner it says -Unassigned number. This has been going on for two days now. I was wondering if there's something wrong with my phone or something. If any of you know how to help me fix it, then please do.

Could possibly be that you need a new SIM (it may be that simple) or something on the provisions on your account is in error...is there anything key that was different right before it started happening to when you got the error??? basically did you add anything or modify something on your account or handset?

Thanks for answering. And no I didn't add nor modify anything on my handset. Someone told me that the reason this shows up is because of the area service from where I live.

The exact thing has happened to me, only with certai n numbers, HELP
