    Help! I just recently made multiple exceptions and another new profile. And after that happened when I receive text messages from only one specific contact my alert tone will not sound. The tone will sound for all of my other contacts.

    I have tried battery pulls with my phone both on and off. I have tried changing the tone to many different ones. Nothing seems to be working. I have even changed to different profiles and the same problem happens.

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Try deleting the contact and readding it.

    For said contact with the issue, is there an exception set?

    Also, if no exception is set, in the NEW profile you created, was a tone set for text?

    Yes there is an acception set for that contact.
