I have a Blackberry 8300 Curve and when I turn it on the network is turned off. When I try to turn on the network connection it resets and loads back up from the begining. If I put the sim card in it either never loads all the way up and stays on the hourglass or it goes to the menu but won't be able to find the network. I've tried some things on here but I'm 100% sure that I'm doing things right, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm running 2.4.0.39, I tried taking it back to a older version to fix it but that didn't help.

A friend with a 8300 had the same problem a few months ago. We finally sent to warranty and the carrier replace the mother board of the blackberry. Could be interesting to know what cause this error....
