For me it seems they are basically the same, although different size (+ for 8900) and lack of wifi in the 8900 (and that I do not use)

How is batterylife, handling, etc if you compare? Have anybody gone from one to another? why?

    Thanks,
    t

Search 8900 vs 9000 or something to that idea and you'll get LOTS of previous feedback.

You're going to have to try them out to decide which is best for you. When I had my 8310 I was one of the who needs 3G crowd but now, I wouldn't want to be without it. I hear the 8900 is very fast on EDGE though so that may be a toss.

Check out the comparison link in my signature.

The 8900 definitely has WiFi. It also has UMA which the Bold does not.

I had a Bold and sold it for the 8900 just cuz of it's size and looks but then again there are other more important comparisons for others such as 3G.

If you carry a purse, maybe you might like the Bold. Pocket pool guys like the 8900.

Go with the Curve 8900. Even though its my second phone, it runs flawlessly. And it DOES have Wifi. I browse the net on it with my home router, and it has UMA callling to. Definatly a lot sexier then the Bold is in my opinion. And its a good fit for the hand.
