Ever since I downloaded a new app to my phone, I haven't been able to access the lists of my emails or texts.. I keep receiving this error message when clicking on them:

"Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException"

Sometimes no message comes up at all, but they still won't open.

Can somebody tell me how to solve this? I've already read several other forums about this already, and tried turning my phone on/off, taking the battery out, and uninstalling the app that caused the problem etc. but having no luck
