My boyfriend and I both have BB 8900, both running on OS 5.0.0.348 (installed this morning). We both had OS 5.0.0.314 for about a month or so. Everything works perfectly on mine, but my boyfriend's google map doesn't work right. It shows his GPS location perfectly, but signing in his Google acct for latitude/layers won't work. I've typed (spelt) it right, but it keeps saying "login failed" and something about "captcha". Is there a way I could fix this? Thanks in advance for your help.
You might find more about your issue with a BETA OS and another application in the BETA OS Forum... I was hoping by now they had worked out all those issues... have you had him remove it, battery pull/reboot, then reinstall???
