My Curve 8900 has been working perfectly until a few hours ago. Here's what's going on:

-I got a text message from my roommate, but was unable to open the message and reply
-A few seconds later, while the phone was on the home screen, I realized that it was frozen. Screen and backlight are on, but keys are now non-functioning.
-The signal strength is now at SOS. I always get great signal strength in my apartment.
-The time on the home screen continues to update with the current time.
-I've backed up all my data and files with Blackberry Desktop Manager, updated all software, and have done several battery pulls.
-During the software update in BDM, I did notice that the number of texts/emails in the upper left hand portion of the home screen went from 1 to 2. (That got my hopes up, thinking that the software update fixed the problem, but once that was completed, the phone is still frozen, and the signal is still at SOS.)
-After the update, I did another battery pull, and nothing.

Also, because all keys are frozen, I am unable unlock the phone.

PLEASE, can someone help?! I really have no idea what's going on. I bought the phone back in November, brand new, and haven't had too many issues with it until tonight.

wow . . . looks like you've done everything possible. You might want to consider taking it to a shop or somewhere to see what's wrong.

if it is under warranty/insured, take it and you might get it replaced
