Ok, so here's the thing? I've tried downloading several themes? I've only had one to work sucsessfully? The one I really want to use is the nancy drew ' love kills slowly'. I go to the ota link and download it I set all the options to allow and it downloads. But when I go to themes it isn't there? I know its downloaded correctly bc its in my application list. I'm using one now that is cute.

You need to download a theme that is designed specifically for the device you are using. It sounds to me by your description that you downloaded a theme to your device that was designed for a different Blackberry model.

your profile says you have verizon and an 8900. those arent compatible. do you have verizon? if so, you have a curve 8330, not the 8900.

Good catch! Something like that is definitely the problem. I'm sure the OP is downloading themes for a different device other than the one being used.

thats most likely the issue. i bet someone wouldnt mess up typing what carrier they use, but your average layman (or laywoman) could easily confuse Curve 8310/8320/8330/8900. im willing to bet shes downloading 8900 themes onto her 8330 and even though installing, the device wont allow it to load due to differences in specifications.
