Are you using a leaked OS v5.0.1? That is not the current distribution version and could be the source of your problem.

Are they paid apps and are you trying to load through BlackBerry App World? Where are you located. Paid apps are only available in the USA and a few other countries at this time.

Do you meet the country and carrier requirements below for Scanner Radio by Gordon Edwards? What Blackjack game were you trying to download? Where are you located and what carrier are you on?

    Supported Countries
    New Zealand
    United States

    All carriers except:

    Bell Mobility (Canada)
    Metro PCS US
    Rogers (Canada)

yes these are paid aplications that I am trying to download and I am based in Brisbane Australia so I gues this might be the problem ?
I also realise that this radio scanner is not able to listen to my local police stations here however thought it might be fun listening to other stations

Thank for the help so far and if it is posible please let me know how to download
    cheers Marty

The OP said they were in Australia and that is a supported country. I suspect it may be more of an issue of the particular phone vs. the app. Not all apps are supported for all phones unfortunately.

We really need more details. Go to Options, About, and let us know your OS version please. Then list the exact programs or exact links where they are being downloaded from and we can help verify whether the program is compatible with your BB, your OS.

The version im running in my blackberry phone is actually v4.6.1.286 my desk top pc version is 5.0.1 (sorry if i confused any one )
I got the phone from optus and im on a plan
I cant find any thing on os and dont know what that means ?
I managed to get the link (for radio scanner )by emailing the componey themselfs and they ended up posting me a link to download it directly from there site so I now got this program
But yea it sux that in Australia you can only download the crap software that over seas blackberry users dont want id be happy to pay up to $5 for software like the scanner program I got

Its really cool by the way you can listen in to heaps of pre set stations like chicargo police not to many stations for australia except for townsville police station lol still makes interesting listening
Thanks again for all your help guys and if you find out a way to download all the good software from overseas please let me know
    heers Marty
