Hello all,

I just started using my curve this week so forgive me if this question has been answered as I have not been able to find any help.

I have my gmail sent to my phone through BIS. I made the change suggested here to stop gmail from placing a copy of my sent email into the inbox.

My problem now is since I've made this change, the email icon for my gmail no longer gets the red notification showing there is a new message but it shows up on the messages icon.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you saying that your new e-mail does not show as new on your BB, like in the e-mail folder?

The new email shows up there is just no notification on the actual icon (the little red icon on top of the envelope)

Are you not getting ANY notification for any folder when you get a new gmail email?

no I get notification on the messages folder just not on the gmail folder.

I'm having the same issue, but for Bold 9000.

Have you tried a battery pull? Are you saying your using the Gmail app or are you having the email's pushed threw your BB email, the whole sent email thing is for when you have the email pushed threw the BB email.
