I have set Flashing LED as repeated notification for my yahoo mail. When a new mail comes, the LED flashes..But does it flash till I check the mail or does it stop flashing after so many hours.

The reason why I am asking is , I left my phone ON overnight..I saw it flashing at night..but the next day morning it was not flashing when I woke up..but the "star" on the folder was there when I went to check the mail.

i think that it times out after 30 minutes or so. there aren't any settings that i have found to mess with the time limit on it either.
