The escape button on my 8530 curve has recently starting acting like the "B" button. Its not all the time, but it is a pain as "B" is a shortcut to the bottom of the screen. It also takes me to the "B" listing of my contact list.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the latest software (I'm now on v5.0.0.508) or a problem with the phone itself as it is only about a month old.

I took it back to Verison, and they "think" its a bug with the new software.

Any help would be appriciated.

Yep, pulled the battery and it does the same.

Reinstall the OS using DM. If it still does that, it might be the phone that has the problem.
