I upgraded Blackberry 8900 to os5 now when I get a new email there is a flashing blue light that wont turn off unless I check my email. I've tuned all indicator LED settings to off but still comes on. I even tried installing Berrybuzz but it comes on with the Berrybuzz lights

Assuming you've already done a battery pull, I would wipe and reinstall the OS. Do make a backup first
