    how do i get rid of an email account. i bought the phone used and i can't get rid of his old email accounts on the bb. i keep getting all of his mail. tired of recieving them. thanks

    can you contact him? he needs to log into his BIS and delete the acct.. I know with sprint it asks you for the password via Internet Settings icon,

    If you haven't done so already and you can't get a hold of the previous owner

    Take out your SIM
    Wipe the device
    Put the SIM back in
    Resend the Service Books
    Register under the Host Routing Table

    You can also go under service books, and try deleting the ones with his email. That might get rid of them.

    I believe he has a BIS account set up that he needs to delete or the carrier needs to do for you. (BIS web site)
