    Your info says 8900... and your provider is VZW? And in another post you say its a curve... Never heard of an 8900 Curve...

    I just don't get it. No way my 8330 is going anywhere near the "can." I stopped at a rest area to pay the rent on a Starbucks. Dude in the next urinal had his business in one hand...berry in the other. Phone rang...he fumbled the berry...in it went...mid stream. Enough said.

    I had it in rice for a day, pulled it out and tried it and it didn't work. However, I took the battery out and left it out for another 24 hrs and it works now. I'm guessing you can bypass rice all together. As soon as it gets wet, rip the battery out for 48 hrs.

    The only casualty in this situation was my SD card and my wallet. I now have a dead SD and an 8700C at my house. Haha.
