    Hi
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I have just got my BB 8900 and i've been online on it trying to download themes. When I click download it comes up with the theme but then it says something along the lines of IT do not allow downloads from third parties? What does this mean?
Is there anyway to stop that? And can I still download themes?

    Thanks x

That means you have a phone through work and they do not allow 3rd party software as per the IT policy. You can try to talk to your BES administrator but they are likely not to budge.

Is there any way to get around this? My phone is not a company or work phone, it is a personal phone. I bought it brand new and unlocked off ebay. I've read so many different things on the internet stating different things. Some say you CAN get rid of the IT policy, and some say you CAN'T.
I just need a bit of help and an answer.

    Thanks

You need to download and use CrackMem to get rid of the IT Policy. Sounds like somone sold you the device with an IT Policy already in place.
