i can find a application to change the light (ala the pearl). only the led (which i heard has its own problems).....any help???

Can't do it on the 8330.. Many Curve owners just take the ball out and dye it.

You can't as far as I know. Most ppl I have seen usually dye theirs.

Take the trackball out and color a piece of tape and put it over the LED. To change the color. This WON'T void ur warrenty cause you can take it off if u return it

you can also use a expo marker of you color choice and dab the LED. Ive changed it from blue, purple, green, and red with no issues. may void your warrenty but thats why you use expo markers. They can be cleaned off with a q-tip

Even more colors are available, and blending colors works as well. As long as you have a spare undyed trackball to substitute into the phone, you won't void your warranty.
