In the end of the gizmodo review, the OP Matt Buchanan says that "it's not a phone to switch to T-Mobile for---especially since it's obviously coming to AT&T"
What do we make of that statement? Valid, or just another rumor that is unlikely to happen?
I had a PM out to phone geek who was testing for att. He either can't say anything or hasn't logged in for about 3 weeks. When he does chime in everyone listens so I'm awaiting word from him.

i'm wondering if he said that becuase the first phone that they got to handle and photograph was branded with ATT... maybe something has changed with ATT since he first had the pics with the ATT branded phone?
as painful as it's been (eligible for my upgrade since October) I guess I will wait another month or so and see if any new developments arise, if not I will buy one unlocked...question though: If I obtain a Rogers unlocked 8900, and something happens to the phone (hardware or anything like that) I'm pretty much S.O.L correct, because I cannot get a warranty of any sort?
Maybe they said "too" as in meaning "also". T-mobile has exclusivity on the 8900 for at least 30 day so AT&T can not offer the phone until after the exclusivity period.
Actually heard an advertisment today on the radio saying "come into att and get a bb curve 2" I live in california anyone else hear this?
i was in a store (not sure if it was ATT or Radioshack or Wirelesstoyz) but i saw a sign above the display of the 8320 (the saphire blue one just released) that was labeled as a "Curve II".

PFT ... That's terrible. Now people are going to be completely confused.
I just wish we had official word one way or the other, I'd like to buy an unlocked one, but if its gonna be released for AT&T in March then I can wait, cuz I'd obviously rather have one from them....damnit RIM/AT&T! Although I know AT&T I'm spoiled with all the devices they have...
I still wonder if anyone in these forums has purchased the 8320 for AT&T lol
Also....I probably would have done the same thing as you did m11stephen lol

Maybe so who knows but it sure did get me thinking it even got people almost crashing over it lol
