So, so far, you've been using about 10MB of data. If you have 1GB data plan, you still have about 1,000MB or 1,038,400KB data left.

Er, no. Carriers are cheap. They don't use the ACTUAL data amount, because that would cost more. For them:
1MB = "Approximately" (as in dead on) 1,000KB
1GB = " " 1,000MB or 1,000,000KB.
And unless you're constantly downloading music, streaming, tethering FOR streaming, you won't exceed it. I have a 1gb tethering plan and use it daily, (for CB / basic site browsing, no movies or games) and still don't go over my limit.
