Hey. I just bought a blackberry curve. It would not connect to my computer. I was using my old software from my 8100, so I figured I would just go download the software from blackberry.com. I found it (I think) downloaded, but could never get through the install process. It would freeze up at the verifying stage.

I pretty much only wanna download blackberry messenger, and put a few new wallpapers on my phone.

You guys helped me out in the past, so I figured if anyone would have some Ideas it would be you

    thnx in advance!

What's freezing? The inatallation of Desktop Manager or the booting of your Curve?

Try uninstalling your current installation of DM from your computer by using Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs before trying to download/install the new DM file.

Stay away from DM4.7, I recommend DM 4.6 without media manager.

It says nothing at all. The top of the box says:

    WinZip Self-Extractor - 460_b027_english_nomediamanager[1].exe

then there is nothing in the box?

Try downloading the one with the media manager (since its a slightly different package).

Otherwise try downloading it, and extracting the .zip file directly to your desktop (right click, extract. If you dont have the option download Winrar) and open the Setup manually.
