Searched around, couldn't find anything so I'm making a post.


My 8900 keeps on restarting itself then going to the hourglass screen for about a minute, then it'll cut off, restart, and doing the same thing over again. Been this way for a couple hours. It won't even get to the carrier page.

I don't have any custom themes or anything either. Phone is nearly stock.


Anybody know how I can fix this?

you have a nuked berry, easy to fix, go here and don't worry you can be up and running in 20 minutes.

It's not nuked anymore.


But every time I try to run Google Maps, or Ubertwitter, or any other 3rd party app it reboots itself.

Ya, I'd wipe it and start over.

First, make a backup of your device's personal data with DM.

Then clear all OS version off your PC, download a new version of the OS, install that... then download CrackMem and install that... you can start CrackMem, select the OS version and then click the Wipe button... this will wipe your device and load the OS version on your device.

I figured out what it was...


Anytime I try to use the GPS feature in a program or try to refresh the GPS my phone will enter "Nuke" mode.


Question is....why is it doing this and how do I fix it?

What would I do to fix this??? I would use CrackMem and Wipe my device. Sounds like there is a corrupt file on your device and it will continue until you fix it. Wipe your device and reload your OS like I stated above... just remember to backup all you data before you do this.
