New to the curve. I am wondering how I can be notified on my curve as to when I receive a text message while I am talking on the phone?

I have the curve with sprint, and unless its a carrier specific thing, i am not sure you can. when I am on the phone text messages/emails go into a cue and when i get off then phone they will come in


again it may be a carrier thing, but on sprint I cant do that

I have the curve 8310 and my phone does the same thing. I don't receive notifications that i have text/email until i end my call! I guess it's a blackberry thing!!

Go to profiles - advanced - edit the active profile - sms text - scroll to bottom and set notify me during calls to yes

Profiles, Advanced, [profile]--will be where to go to change your notification settings. But as others have said, it may be phone specific as far as when you actually receive them. ON my Curve 8320, I am able to get SMSs and MMS even when talking on the phone... so it may depend
