I own an unlocked 8320 which i run on ATT. I would like to upgradge the OS from the t-mobile .171 to a newer version such as the voda phone version listed on this forum.

My question is:

Since i have wi-fi on the device must i then only use a Curve OS for a device that has wi fi? In other words will i ruin the Wi Fi if i load another version of the Curve OS that was made for a non-wi fi curve? Am i forever chained to t-mobile OS versions for my unlocked device? thx.

U should be able to update the sw to the att os. But will the wifi work thats the big question i think it should work.

I think you should be fine as wifi is a hardware feature, not software related. Just make sure its specific to the 8320 device, not the 8300/10.
