My Supervisor has a the same model Curve (8330) as I do. His phone can almost open all email attachments except for .pdf files. I receive the same emails with attachments and my phone opens all attachments without a problem. We had his phone reset to factory specs and still he is unable to open .pdf files. With his phone, you would see multiple pages .pdf files with a solid horizontal line, a page number, another horizontal solid line, page 2, and so on.
We even thought perhaps it was the version of Adobe that the pdf file was created from, but still my phone can open all versions of .pdf and his...nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we can resolve this mystery?
Do you have the attatchment support installed? Go to your desktop manager, start your application manager. Make sure attatchment support is checked. This should solve the problems.
