Which one would you guys recommend? i am fan of both touch screen and physical key pads

To the op; I am biased since i have the Storm, but one thing I like about the storm is the the extra screen space i have when reading or looking at pics.

Two completely different phones. I have the storm 2...I like the features, the fun-aspect. I like that it is built a bit more solid and has world features.

My fiance on the other hand has the curve 2 and enjoys the size, the lighter weight, the full keyboard.

Have you tried them in the store? You say that you are a fan of both...but there's a difference between being a fan and using it every day! Good luck

yeah i tried them both and like them both. The only down fall is no flash on the curve. When i said that I'm a fan of both, i meant that i can use either one of them for everyday task, either one will work for me.

My secondary device I carry is a Curve 8330.. don't kno how much diff between that and the 8530 (aside from trackball and wifi) but I prefer the storm2 against my curve.

My curve was my first blackberry tho, so it will always have a place in my heart

It appears that right now you have the tour. You would not be happy with the new curve, i feel its a downgrade from a tour. I would def go with the storm 2 or if its wifi you want. And are not a fan of touch screen phones. Like me. Wait for the tour 2

I have a curve 8530, and the fact that there is no flash hes never been a problem. I dont know about you but I buy my phone for messaging email and web. I have a camera for pictures.

I don't have kids yet, so I see your point. It would be convenient, but if you want a phone that does grate photos I don't think Blackberrys come with anything more then a 3.2 mp camera. There are some other phones out there that have 5.0 mp cameras. I hope that this will be something that will be on some newer models.

OP, I have Storm 2. Girlfriend has 8530. I've used both extensively.

Storm wins out for me due to 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash (Curve has a 2.0 MP camera without flash) and a huge gorgeous screen (curve screen is lower resolution).

However, Curve is hella cheap and does 85% -90% of what Storm can do.

That said, if money is no object, then S2, otherwise Curve.

hmmm...such a dilemma you are in! I too am trying to decide which one. I have to say that the 8530 keyboard is what draws me to choose it. I think the kb is better than the tour also, but just my opinion.

I also like the rubber coating on the edge, along with the media controls, usb port position, 3.5 jack...etc.
As mentioned, they ARE two different phones, but my vote would be the curve.
