I am having problems pairing my BB 8530 curve to my 2008 BMW 5 series. At first the phone found the car, but the car was not able to pair. Now the phone won't find the car, nor will the car give me an option to pair my phone, it just went to a screen that won't do anything. I can't even press the help button. It says go to bmw.com/bluetooth, but there are no options to fix, any help?

This looks to be an inherent problem with BMW's bluetooth set up. We are weighing whether to buy a BMW, and I've noticed that our Sprint 8530 does not appear on BMW's bluetooth compatibility list. Same thing on Honda's bluetooth site for our 8530. Maybe an electronics tech at a BMW dealer can explore a fix. I never guessed that we would need to cross-check to ensure our new cell ph would work with a particular type of car/bluetooth.
