Just had to downgrade from a Tour to Curve 8530 and I know the screen resolution is much different in terms of clarity.

What is the clearest font that looks the best on the 8530? I dont see any option for smoothing.

I prefer BB Alpha Sans. I use an 8530 for work and have no issues. Why did you downgrade? Did you press VZW to upgrade you to the Bold?

I got a pressure crack in my Tour screen (not my fault, I swear!). They would not take it back and replace, claiming they would have to pay full price from the manufacturer. I didnt have insurance (I tend to take excellent care of my phones) and the deductable for smart phones would have been $89. I paid $29 for a new 8530, thanks to an upgrade I had available on my daughter's line.

I prefer BBAlpha Sans or BBJapanese Gothic.
