I located something on appworld called epubreader light. Better than nothing but
it doesn't save your place and it's really basic with no options.

Coming from coolreader, kindle app, aldiko etc.... If I could
just find one good book reader to put on the 9310...
I'd be very happy. Only thing I'm going to miss about android.

any thoughts?

You can download the kindle app from the link below. I had it installed on a Curve 8330 and now a Curve 9310 and it works with no problems. Trying to download it from Amazon will only allow certain device models but this is the direct download that should work from the BB browser.
