noobie asking if deleted text messages are stored anywhere in phone, accessible or not? or totally a dumb question? tried "search" field, no luck...not under "deleted items either", cant find setting for deleted items folder....thank you!

Nope. Not unless you saved them anywhere, when they are gone they are gone.

Yup and same goes with emails! This is why I do periodic backups of my BB!

When you back up your BB, does it back up email and text messages?

I have friend with an iPhone and Missing Sync and she's able to back up her text messages.
