    Howdy! I'm NEW Blackberry owner, and I LOVE it!

    I don't, however, like having an alarm remind me of appointments I have in my calendar. Is there any way that I can turn the alarm off? Thanks.

    Just don't add reminders to your calendar items...

    Also, in Calendar / Options / 'default reminder' turn it off...
