I am hoping someone can help me. I travel between time zones quite a bit and was wondering if there was
1. a way for BB to automatically adjust to time zones
2. a way to keep the darn calendar from moving my appts when I adjust to the time zone manually.

Thanks...that makes sense. I never paid attention to the time zone detail in the calendar!

radteck96, as I know BBs update the time/date when changing time zones, if fed through the carrier.

The .PDF-format manual states (p. 203) that "if you traveled to a different time zone, set the Time Zone field to display the correct time zone". It appears your only choice is to do the change manually. This will indeed alter your appoinment entries.

Is there a 3rd party app that deals with this? (Anyone?)

There is another long thread here on this issue. I'm sorry, I'm on my bb and can't point you to it. But search the forum. One solution is to enter the correct time zone of your appt. Then the time of the appt will be correct when you change the time zone on the bb.
