I am currently in mexico using a unlocked tmo blackberry on the rogers network. I can send and receive emails using only my wifi connection but when I try to use my browser i get the following message "You are not currently in an area that can handle data communication. As a result the browser cannot retrieve any web pages"
I can browse at home with no problems using only my wifi.
Any ideas?

you probably don't have service books. go to options/advanced options/service books and see what's listed there

If where you are does not have a compatible data network, you won't be able to surf the web like you are able to at home.

I checked the service books, there are a lot of them there, too many to list. I do have wifi tcp/ip browser and wifi tcp/ip transport. There is a lot more for the browser and i will list them if necesssary.
