I just got done fixing mine Takes some time to do it right but it is worth it sprint tried to give me the bs about it can't be fixed 100 for the ins B.S. have to send it in wait for a new one with everything gone and have to start from scratch
well if you have the time and few tools you need then I would say try it as if you mess it up just say it was stole and get the new one
Whitesox42, if, as your name suggests to me, you are in the Chicago are, there is a place in Naperville on 59 and Diehl. I just had mine fixed this last friday. $55 and 40minutes later is was as good as new.

I never like to give anything of mine to someelse to fix if I don't know how to fix it I will learn but I work on computers everyday and have a strong background in elec. So this was a easy fix I had everything I needed so all it cost me was time but now I'm going to start offering as a service and my shop :)
