.....when we all get our bolds.......will we need to consider internal memory as much as we do now with our curves etc, will the same "how to free up memory" guides be just as important and used as much??

    Just curious

In my experience applications grow so as to fill the amount of available memory - and then some.

Spoken with the wisdom of hind site.

Back in the Apple II days, 48 Kb was more the enough.

Along comes the PC and 640 Kb and Macintosh with 128 Kb.

Will we find creative ways to use a Gb? Pretty sure bet.

I agree very much... with more memory available, we're going to fill it up with more stuff. It's like that rule where the more you have, the more you want

You got that right, 800 Mb of third party applications will keep us entertained for a while.

Good thing they doubled the speed of the CPU speed too, 633 Mhz, that will help.

Considering there is only roughly 128MB usable memory for applications and such, I have a feeling we WILL be optimizing our Bolds.

You have one, so I accept that is correct.

Still, 128 Mb is a huge improvement.

128mb vs the 96mb on a Curve..Yea decent improvement. How much space do most applications take up?
