Both are as good as each other. But, the 8900 has a better camera, hands down!
Lastly, I suggest you play with the buttons on both devices. I like both devices, but the keys and the device itself (8900), are a bit small for me. Albeit that could be just because I'm now use to the BOLD. Then again, I have big hands...
Depends on what you're looking for your BB to do. The Bold is a massive battery hog but it's faster with 3G connection. There's a few threads here comparing the two, do a search and you may find what you're looking for.
bold is a great phone and as previously stated i dont think it will have 3G. the 8900 has a better camera but smaller keys. the 8900 is smaller/thinner than the bold. both are good state of the art phones and both are a good choice its YOUR PERSONAL PREFERENCE that will make the final choice.
