Anyways,

I am trying to decide if I should get an 8900 or a BlackBerry Bold. The BlackBerry will be used on T-Mobile's network meaning the 3G will basically be useless.

I will get the Bold for $350 NO CONTRACT or I get the 8900 for $150 with mail and rebate from T-Mobile with a 2 YEAR CONTRACT.

I don't know what to do.

Since you can't use the 3g network I would say get the 8900 because it has more application memory and better camera.

But if later down the line you switch to a network with 3G bold is an amazing phone to have.

Only difference is the build quality. Bold performs better overall over the 8900, only difference people want that 8900 is for its camera.

I'd still get it, as its between the Curve 8330 and Bold 9000. But I'm a happy Bold owner so this would never happen.

I say try both in stores first the keyboards are different and other different features that you only see if they are in your hands. I have a pearl right now but I am going to get a new blackberry sometime this year and I also have tmobile and I decided on the 8900 only after I got my hands on both. But they both are amazing phones.

I own a bold, but if your planning to use on TMO;then you should just get the 8900. I hear that 3G is nice, however I am in fairbanks, Ak and there is no 3G network here(yet). Either way.... Its a blackberry. You can't really go wrong-unless you purchase a storm.
