Does having the Bluetooth connection ON drain the battery faster? I'm not talking about when it's actually connected to a bluetooth device. Just in general, when it's ON...

I have noticed the battery does go a little quicker when bluetooth is enabled. I haven't seen it documented anywhere about BlackBerries, but this was in the documentation for my old Cingular 8125.

Sorry to say - I notice when BT is enabled and not active, there is a draw on the battery. It is slight but something to make note of. This isn't when the connection is being utilized of course. For that we expect the draw. So far no luck quantifying it though.
