I just got the 8900 Curve yesterday. I downloaded the software online, and the first time I tried to sync (on Windows Vista), immediately the program crashed with the usual "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly" message. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!!

What version of Desktop Manger are you using? Try 5.0. Expecially on Vista.

    Well, uninstall and reinstall.

    Try 4.6.

You've got a dll freakout happening somewhere in there.

Ok I uninstalled and reinstalled with version 4.6. Now it wants administrative privileges - I reopened selecting the option to "Run as administrator" and now it does not recognize that my BB is plugged in. what now? thanks!

Why even use sync. just pick an artist, album, and enjoy.

Blow away vista go to xp.

    Try on different PC.

    Get an iphone.

Check for Roxio updates on their web site.

Check system and app log on your pc for possible root cause.
