Hello. I am looking for multilang software for BlackBerry Curve 8900. I wanted to change the language to pl. A request to forum users, does anyone have one? Unfortunately, all links on BlackBerry sites are removed for obvious reasons....
You should be able to add languages in BB Desktop with your existing software.
How to install more languages on your BlackBerry smartphone
You need "AllLang" version to get PL language pack. "Multilang" version might be ok too, I think those versions support all European languages. I can see the following file listed in the Sticky section:
8900jAllLang_PBr5.0.0_rel1831_PL5.2.0.111_A5.0.0.1 106_AXIS_Indonesia.exe
https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...onesia-768830/
You might have to try to google the file if nobody here has it hosted. In that case make sure that you remove all spaces from file names copied from these forums (it is a text formatting bug). It should be:
..... A5.0.0.1106_AXIS_Indonesia.exe
And do not use the Desktop Software to add anything to your OS, it is a recipe for problems. Once you have the OS installed on the PC run Loader.exe (Application Loader Wizard) directly instead. The first path shown below is for 32-bit version of Windows and the second path is for 64-bit version:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\Loader.exe

Some more OS file names can be found at the link below, just type OS 5.0.0 in the search box (unfortunately all download links are redirected to the current BB website):

The last OS I could find is:
8900M_PBr5.0.0_rel1849_PL5.2.0.115_A5.0.0.1113_Vod afone_Spain.exe
It should be:
..... A5.0.0.1113_Vodafone_Spain.exe
And you should probably be ok with a "Multilang" version. I think those versions support all European languages, but no Asian languages (I have corrected my previous post).
