    So i have had my bb for 3days and havent figured out how to make it where when i store a number i can choose what field it goes under, my current problem is whenever i try to save a number from my call log it automatically labels it as their work number

    Also i would like to know what apps people use on their bb so i can get a feel on what apps i would like and did not know exsits

    You can just highlight the number in your call log and hit menu>copy (123)4567890 then go to address book>menu>new address then paste the number where you want. The process can be a bit lengthy but will get the job done. As far as apps are concerned check these links out. Welcome to crackberry!

    That is what I do too - though, I've often wondered if there is some simpler way?!?!

    The copy/paste feature is the only way I know how to add a number to an existing contact. If it's a new contact you can just go to the number push menu and select add to address book. But then it automatically puts the number in the Work field, but I just put the number in the correct field and delete the number out of the work field, unless it's a work number.

    You will need a 3rd party app. One in particular is called SaveNumberAs.
