That's what I would do. Ne need to expose it to the sun. It's not water, it's alcohol.
o, well ok its frustrating to wait! i tried the battery in another 8900 today and it did not work so i probably need a new battery...it has a pink line through the sticker and the other guys did too so i thought it would work but i guess not...
ok ill move it to a non sunny spot in my room..do you think 24 hours is enough or should i leave it longer? if it still doesnt work is there anything else i can do
yes..plus the original battery actually works. i put it in another 8900 and charged it and the battery is fine now...but the phone still shows no signs of life with the orignial or any other battery...i guess some water damage just cant be fixed
In the end if the original owner tried to get it to work while there was water in it then it got fried. Worth the try but undoubtedly it is time to part it out if the case is still decent.
