I let my black berry die completely for about 2 weeks. I have gotten a new OEM battery for it. When I try to charge it the red LED light comes on for about 10 seconds and stays constant for that long too. Then a picture of a Battery with a lighting thing going through it shows up. But the blackberry still doesn't come on after charging it for 2 days.

Also in the USB port all I see are 3 gold pins. ie:

GGXXG

G= Gold pin
X= Nothing there

Ok Fixed the issue got a cradle and now the phone is charging. Looks like the USB pins got messed up. Is there a way to upgrade the phone with out using the USB. I want to upgrade the firmware. Thanks

Nope..... Cannot be done without USB sadly.....
