A while back I switched from an 8330 to an 8530. Overall the 8530 is far superior EXCEPT one thing. BIng. It sucks. Its horrrrible. From the start page where you can enter a url, see your bookmarks, history etc. The only quick search option is bing. On the 8330 it was google. I find myself adding a whole new step now when I need quick info. I don't even bother using the bing bar, instead ill just go to google.com. Is there ANY WAY to replace the bing bar with a google bar!? Bing is THAT bad!

Change your browser's start page to google, it looks like Verizon (if that's who you have) removed all other options. Also, take a look at quicklaunch in the CB store, it has so many search options its ridiculous.
Unfortunately, you're stuck with Bing as the only search option in the BB browser. Microsoft struck a deal with Verizon to have Bing as the exclusive search engine on the newer BB devices.
There are some things you can do to use Google:
(1) set Google as your browser's home page
(2) download the Quick Search with Google application from App World
