I think my 8350 is toast. Plugged it into my computer last night and my BB rebooted. It came back up and it will now no longer charge. I've tried various cables through my PC with no dice. Windows reports there is a problem with the device. Tried charging using two different wall chargers with no luck.

The lightening bolt in the battery gauge will come on for about 10 seconds then turn off.

I've done several battery pulls with the device on and off. No effect.

Look at the charging port and check out the pins. Do they look ok or is it bent, messed up at all?

My wife had the same issue with her Curve. What worked for us was to just leave it charging. Even though the lightning bolt comes up eventually it will charge. Let it charge all night and it should be fine tomorrow. If you need anything else you can PM me.

I had kinda the same problem as well, had to get it replaced.

The pins look perfectly fine.

Just got back from the Sprint store. My replacement 8350i should be here Wednesday or Thursday.

Here's the million dollar question. How do I backup my contacts and memo's if the USB port is hosed?

This is the problem i had with my first curve after a year and 2 months it would not charge so i got a new one.
