BB Curve no memory card recognised ?

In total i have tried three separate memory cards in my curve, but the phone fails to recognise any of them

All i get in the memory section of options is 'A media card is not presently inserted in the device'

Can anyone help/advise with this please ?

The same thing happened to me after having my new Bold for about one week. I brought it into the Sprint store to be looked at and they couldn't fix it. They had to give me a new Bold.
