I just purchased a curve yesterday, and when I got home noticed that the camera lens and flash is not covered by another clear plastic to cover the lens and flash from any dust.

Returned it to verizon this morning only to notice that all of them did not have any... Is this standard for the curve?? Can I get anything to cover this?

Ya I also wondered about this. It almost looks like they just forgot it, but I'm sure it was part of the design. This is my first BB do others have another piece of clear plastic, something that would be more flush with the casing, to protect/cover the camera and flash? It seems like the camera and flash 'holes' are going to be big dust traps. On the other hand, another piece of plastic would maybe decrease image quality and flash brightness.

Normally covers are made of glass because plastic scratches easily.

Having said that, plastic is actually superior as it lets more light through than glass (assuming you have high quality plastic).
